Open Access Statement

The Ukrainian Journal of Earth Remote Sensing is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. Quotations, figures, and tables from articles are submitted only with the correct link to the journal (author, article title, journal name, year of issue, number, page, figure or table number, DOI articles). Full-text access to all scientific articles of all issues is presented on the journal's official website in the Archive section.

If the research results are based on datasets suitable for dissemination, authors are encouraged to deposit such data in institutional, national, and/or international research data repositories. Where possible, such datasets should comply with the FAIR principles, meaning they should be findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.

The author must indicate in the article itself, as well as in its metadata, information on the availability and location of the research data, if such data have been made publicly available. In particular, the repository name, the number of deposited datasets, and the DOI or another persistent identifier that provides access to them should be specified.

If the data cannot be made openly available due to legal, ethical, security, contractual, or other justified reasons, the author must state this in the article itself, together with a brief explanation of the grounds for such restriction.

Licensing conditions: the authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right to first publish the work, simultaneously licensed in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY, which allows you to share the work with proof of authorship of the work and initial publication in this journal.
