Content licensing and usage policy
The Ukrainian Journal of Remote Sensing adheres to an open access policy and clear licensing rules to protect copyright and promote scientific advancement.
Key provisions of the licensing policy:
- License type: The journal's content is distributed under the terms of the international Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows users to copy, distribute, and adapt the materials, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original publication in the journal is cited.
- Copyright: The authors retain copyright without restrictions, granting the journal the right of first publication of the work.
- Open access: The journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Use of Content:
- Citation and referencing: When using data, graphics, or text fragments, full bibliographic information (authors, article title, journal title, year, volume, issue, pages) and the article's DOI must be provided.
- Remote Sensing Data Processing: The journal publishes materials on methods for improving, interpreting, and analyzing geospatial data. The use of the methods described in the articles is permitted for scientific and practical purposes, provided the source is cited.
- Responsibility: The authors are personally responsible for the accuracy of the presented facts, quotations, and proper names.
All articles in the Ukrainian Journal of Remote Sensing are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Authors retain the copyright to their works and grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors may distribute a version of their article (e.g., deposit it in institutional repositories or publish it on personal web pages) with a mandatory link to the original publication in this journal.
